With prints of the above photo I am participating in Kevin J. Miyazaki’s wonderful collaborative project, collect.give, where photographers sell prints and donate the proceeds to the charity/organization of their choice. All my print sale proceeds will go to support the Montreal Urban Ecology Centre, which builds green roofs and does all sort of other stuff that is good for all of us. A lesser known fact is that I also work as a graphic designer and I was recently lucky enough to be able to combine it with photography. I recently designed the latest issue of LPV Magazine for Bryan Formhals. Working with Bryan was a great experience and I am really happy with the result. The issue, the third so far, features photos and quotes by Ed Panar, Hannah Pierce-Carlson, Shane Lynam and Tommy Forbes. It was really fun to edit and sequence other people’s photographs, and then lay them out. I hope to get to do it again some day.
