I love how Jake Stangel has been getting people to do something in front of the camera:
Rapper and activist Boots Riley, shot for the New York Times Magazine. Shot right around the corner from his house in West Oakland. I asked Boots if he was cool with rapping on top of an apple box, and he was all for it.
